We release shows 6 months in advance. If a show falls within the next 6 months and you don’t see it, all volunteer positions have been filled. (Once all of the volunteer positions are filled a show will automatically disappear from the VolunteerMark list.)

Shows will typically be added to VolunteerMark six months in advance or, if the show is sooner than that, at the time of announcement.

If an event you want to work is full, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator to be placed on a waitlist. Volunteers often have last-minute conflicts so waitlisted folks are likely to work events.

Please do not show up without being signed up as this is disrespectful to fellow volunteers who may be sitting at home on a waitlist.

Your VolunteerMark account will show you a list of total volunteering hours for all time. If you’d like to know for the current year, specifically, please email the Volunteer Coordinator with details of your request.

Great question!  All volunteer hours count towards redemption EXCEPT shadow trainee hours.  We also give credit for the Annual Volunteer Meeting hours and Annual House Manager hours.

Our season runs from July 1-June 30 of the following year. Every July 1 volunteer hours reset to zero. At that time, you will still get to use any rewards you have not redeemed for the previous season. For example, if a volunteer has 47 unused hours on July 1 of a new season, they will still be able to redeem their previously earned set of tickets (40 hours), but the remaining 7 hours will be discarded and will not go towards their total hours for the next season.

It happens to all of us! If you have signed up for an event and can no longer volunteer, please notify the Volunteer Coordinator asap. The sooner we know, the easier it is for someone else to take your place.
