The Sheldon was built in 1912 as the home of the Ethical Society of St. Louis. Musicians, public speakers and the public throughout the years have enjoyed the perfect acoustics of The Sheldon Concert Hall, earning The Sheldon its reputation as “The Carnegie Hall of St. Louis”. But, something else seems to be happening in the historic building that’s not on the event calendar. Is it haunted? Let’s find out!

You are invited to join members of the Sheldon staff and the Gateway Regional Investigations of the Paranormal (GRIP) to conduct a paranormal investigation of the 112 year old Sheldon. You will have the opportunity to join in with the GRIP team as it conducts investigations and spirit communication sessions in the darkened recesses of the building to include the Concert Hall, Green Room and the Ballroom. Or, you can investigate those areas on your own with a GRIP team member.

To help document your experiences, GRIP will offer the use of paranormal investigation equipment (infrared cameras, K2 meters, dowsing rods, temperature monitors) and a short tutorial on how to use them. You can also use your own equipment, cell phones and cameras!

Come early! A Tarot Card reader will be available at 6:30 p.m. for a separate fee of $25
