Tired of the same old Valentine’s Day events? Show your love (and courage) by joining members of the Sheldon staff and GRIP-Paranormal Team to conduct a Valentine’s Day paranormal investigation of the 113-year-old Sheldon on 14 February 2025 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

You will have the opportunity to participate with the GRIP team as it conducts investigations and spirit communication sessions in the darkened recesses of the iconic building to include the Concert Hall, Green Room, the Konneker Room and, for the first time, two of the performers’ dressing rooms. Or you can investigate those areas on your own!

To help document your experiences, GRIP will offer the use of paranormal investigation equipment (infrared cameras, K2 meters, dowsing rods, temperature monitors) and a short tutorial on how to use them. You can also use your own equipment, cell phones and cameras!

Things to know:

• The cost for this special event is $50 per person, plus taxes and applicable fees. There will be no refunds.

• Participation will be limited to 30 people. Participants will be broken into two groups and rotated through different locations to maximize the investigation experience.

• The minimum age for participating will be 15 years old. Participants aged 15-17 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

• No “Live Streaming” will be permitted from the site during the actual event. However, you can take all the photos and videos you want to share after the event.

• Disruptive and disrespectful individuals will be asked to leave the event.

• Doors will open at 6:00pm and a tarot card reader will be available to do readings before the event for a separate fee of $25.
