MFLA April Instrument Drive

April is Music For Lifelong Achievement (MFLA) month at The Sheldon!
This year, MFLA’s April instrument collection drive benefits area schools and organizations, distributing instruments to those in need. Instrument and monetary donations ensure that kids of all backgrounds are given the opportunity to grow and express themselves through the power of music.
Donations of used (or new) musical instrument will be accepted:
- In person at The Sheldon throughout the month of April, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Donors should enter through the administrative entrance on the east side of the Sheldon Concert Hall.
- During Sheldon Art Gallery hours, Tuesday-Friday, noon – 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- At the box office at any Sheldon concert in April.
Don’t have an instrument to donate? Financial contributions can help pay for necessary repairs of donated instruments, as well as accessories such as strings, reeds and sheet music. Click here to make a monetary donation!

Over the past 16 years, MFLA has distributed over 1,000 instruments to St. Louis-area schools and community music programs. Music For Lifelong Achievement is part of the non-profit Sheldon Arts Foundation, an accredited 501c3 organization and is based at the Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis, Missouri.
