The Sheldon presents music education programs that introduce young people to many genres of music, teach respect for diversity and connect to school curriculum including history, social studies, language arts and STEAM disciplines. The Sheldon Art Galleries present workshops for young people with both national and local visual artists, usually in conjunction with exhibits by these artists in the galleries. Students learn photography, painting and drawing, and a portion of their work is often shown in the Gallery of Children’s Art.
