Bluegrass legend, multi-instrumentalist Sam Bush, has helped expand the horizons of bluegrass music, fusing it with jazz, rock, blues, funk and more. He is the co-founder of the genre-bending New Grass Revival and an in-demand musician who has played with everyone from Emmylou Harris and Béla Fleck to Charlie Haden, Lyle Lovett and Garth Brooks. Bush has been honored by the Americana Music Association and the International Bluegrass Music Association numerous times for his jaw-dropping skills on the mandolin.
Ticketholders to this sold-out concert are invited to join us from 7-8 p.m. for a pre-concert mandolin event in our Art Galleries. The experts from Music Folk in Webster Groves will bring a selection of mandolins for you to play and answer your questions.
